Push Pass Relocation
One of my favorite drills to do with players: π₯πͺπ¨π π₯ππ¨π¨ π¬ππ©π π π¨π‘ππππ© π§ππ‘π€πππ©ππ€π£
We focus on the left-handed push pass to help players ability to pass with both hands equally, which is required in higher levels of basketball
After the push pass, they V-cut to simulate faking the defender out and then receiving the ball back. To simulate a late defensive recovery, I have them do a 1 dribble pull-up (which could also be a hard drive to the basket)
Players need to understand offensive movement patterns and different ways to react to how the defense is playing them. This drill is the perfect way to do so
Stay tuned for the next layer to this drill: πππππ£π ππ£ π πΏππ
